Our Story

Before qualifying as a RICS residential surveyor, our founder spent over 22 years running a successful construction company in South East London and East Sussex, while also working on property development projects. This dual expertise in construction and renovation provided invaluable practical knowledge of how homes are built, maintained, and improved—insight that many in the surveying field simply don't have.

After two decades on building sites, and now raising a family in Robertsbridge, he chose to step away from the physical demands of development and channel that experience into surveying. His career has always been defined by a commitment to giving clients clear, expert advice and ensuring they make fully informed decisions when purchasing property.

Over the years of conducting Level 3 surveys for potential buyers, we have come to understand that many buyers are not necessarily looking at the correct style of house for their lifestyle. There is often a lot of stress and emotion involved in buying a property, and our service aims to reduce this significantly while also reducing time wasted. We recognize that certain categories of potential buyers find our property finding service invaluable, including buyers with restricted mobility, the elderly, and long-distance purchasers who simply don't have the time or logistical help to search efficiently.

This understanding led us to extend our services beyond just surveys to comprehensive property finding. What sets us apart from other property finders is our all-inclusive package, which includes initial site visits and in-house surveyors who conduct surveys to compare potential purchases with complete impartiality—without having to instruct a third party. We believe transparency and conducting an ethical business is key, which is why we do not accept or pay any referral fees for any external contacts, as this can create a conflict of interest.

We work solely for our clients with their interests being the only thing that matters, ensuring they not only save time and potentially money but also purchase the correct property with all the potential facts and figures in place for them to make an informed decision without any conflict of interests.
